The 43-year-old coach was 41-28 in his two seasons at the Fort Myers, Fla., school. He led the Eagles to a school-record 26 wins this season, including upsets of No. 2 seed Georgetown and No. 7 seed San Diego State as a 15th-seed in the NCAA tourney.

Supermodel Amanda Marcum is going Hollywood. And she is taking her husband with her.
Andy Enfield — Mr. Marcum to some — is taking over as coach of the University of Southern California men’s basketball team after leading previously unheralded Florida Gulf Coast to the Round of 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
AD Pat Haden said Monday night that Enfield had reached an agreement to leave Dunk City for La La Land. Haden said Enfield’s success at FGCU was built on hard work and planning and that his high-flying style and intense defense would be fun for players and fans at Southern Cal.
Enfield will be introduced in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Enfield takes over from interim coach Bob Cantu, who had a 7-8 record after succeeding Kevin O’Neill, who was fired in mid January. The Trojans finished 14-18; they are just 12-17 all-time in the Big Dance.

A player at Johns Hopkins, Enfield helped start a healthcare software company in New York, which is where he met Marcum. After pulling down $157,000 a season at FGCU, he is expected to make well over a million a year to take over at the Pac-12 school.
As Enfield’s Eagles soared, it seemed the mother of his three children was becoming the focus of the team’s unlikely ascent.
“I never expected this. I’m flattered, and I think it’s great, but it’s also kind of crazy to me,’’ Marcum said. “I should not be the focus at all. The best part is seeing Andy and the players have their dreams actually come true. They are so happy."
Amanda Marcum is retired as a model now, but she, and her husband, should be happier in Tinseltown.
